The Box One Triple Tapered Chromoly Handlebar-7.5″ is another realization of Box’s Oversized Technology design philosophy. Once again, they’ve moved material from under stressed areas to high stress areas in a bid to create greater stiffness without the expense of adding extra weight. Not only are the bars themselves super stiff, but the clamping area is a large 31.8mm diameter providing lots of friction and stiffness. This bar is key if you are looking to stiffen up your bike for more pedal response. As this handlebar is designed for larger racers Box has used tough chromium molybdenum steel to allow for greater variance in thickness along the stress areas to account for greater rider weight and strength.
